CARDIFF City have announced that no Saints fans will be able attend the upcoming pre-season friendly, due to be played in the Welsh capital on Tuesday July 27.
The fixture at Cardiff City Stadium is one of two Saints matches during a mini-tour in Wales, with another game against Swansea to come on Saturday 31.
However, it won’t present fans an opportunity to see Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men in person for the first time since the turning of the new season after the Bluebirds announced tickets will be available for home fans only.
In line with Covid regulations set by the Welsh government, Cardiff will only be operating with a capacity of 8,000 inside the 33,280 all-seater arena – at a time when full English stadiums will be permitted.
