STRIKER Dan N'Lundulu has put pen-to-paper on a fresh three-year contract at Saints - before immediately joining Lincoln City on loan.
Academy graduate N'Lundulu broke through into the first team last season, making his senior debut as a late substitute in a Premier League win over Everton at St Mary's in October.
The French-born youngster, 22, went on to make a further 15 appearances for the Saints first team during the last campaign.
In his only start, N'Lundulu found the net in a 2-0 FA Cup triumph against Shrewsbury Town.
And the striker is now set for a spell away from Saints, to gain experience at League One Lincoln.
Michael Appleton's side finished fifth in the third tier last season, only missing out on promotion after a 2-1 defeat in the play-off final against Blackpool at Wembley.
Upon announcing the deal, Saints said: "The club wishes Dan well for the season ahead and looks forward to monitoring his progress during his time at Sincil Bank."
Lincoln's League One campaign begins at Steve Evans's Gillingham on August 7.
