SAINTS are reportedly keen to re-sign midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on loan.
talkSPORT claim the St Mary’s side are looking at the England international, who left St Mary’s 10 years ago today to join Arsenal.
Oxlade Chamberlain made his first-team debut for Saints as a 16-year-old, having come off the bench in a 5-0 victory over Huddersfield in 2010.
The midfielder went on to play 43 times for Saints at senior level before moving to the Gunners for a reported fee of £12million.
Having won three FA Cups with the north London side, Oxlade-Chamberlain has since been part of the Liverpool setup to have won the Premier League and Champions League.
And now the media outlet claim Liverpool are “open to offers” for the Portsmouth-born star, who initially joined Saints at the age of seven.
Saints are also reportedly closing in on Chelsea’s young striker Armando Broja on a season’s loan.
The 19-year-old scored in a pre-season friendly at south coast rivals Bournemouth last week.
