RALPH Hasenhuttl was tight-lipped on transfer rumours linking Saints to new players but did admit business will be done, reassuring fans “you can expect that.”
Reports have linked 24-year-old Torino centre-back Lyanco to a St Mary’s move that could well happen at any time.
After Jannik Vestergaard went out the door to Leicester City, another man in has been promised by both the Austrian manager and CEO Martin Semmens.
Hasenhuttl refused to be drawn on speculation after the 1-1 draw with Manchester United, saying: “Yeah, you can expect that (signing).”

Before adding: “No, I don’t want to discuss any rumours about persons or players, but we will do something.”
After six have come in through the door this summer already, Saints’ squad is only a few names short of a full complement that would provide further depth than that of units in recent campaigns.
The primary of those obviously being a central defender, but also a defensive midfield cover option and potentially a left-back – although Kyle Walker-Peters was substituted on there in a five-at-the-back formation late against United.
One man who has come in with big boots to fill is Adam Armstrong, although he performed well in the opening two fixtures – despite missing a couple of golden chances – with a goal and setting up Che Adams’ eventually Fred-deflected strike on Sunday.
On his new number nine, Hasenhuttl said: “Absolutely pleased.
“It’s a pity that he didn’t score today but he showed not only this season that he is a very lively striker and nasty to defend, he is always there, very nasty.
“The guys also working quite good together, a good couple (with Adams).
“And also on the bench some guys, they are coming when they get the chance to do it and this gives me more opportunities this season.”
