AFC Totton have climbed to the top of the Southern League Division One South table after securing a late 3-1 win over a stubborn Highworth Town, writes Doug Taxil-Webber.
The Stags dominated the early exchanges, as Jack Hoey caused havoc from the left side.
Shortly after, Hoey got on the scoresheet after a pinpoint cross enabled him to blast home from six yards.
After the break, Highworth drew level when Ollie Case rose unchallenged to head a corner past Lewis Noice. This woke up the Stags, resulting in many attempts, most notably from Jordan Ngalo.
As the game came to a close, Ethan Taylor put Totton ahead.
However, the home side weren’t finished, with Hisham Kasimu firing home from the spot to secure victory for Totton.
