SAINTS striker Michael Obafemi is reportedly set to seal a permanent move to Swansea City.
WalesOnline claim the 21-year-old is the target of a late move for the Republic of Ireland international by the Swans, on a permanent deal.
Obafemi is understood to have just a year remaining on his current contract at Saints.
He came off the bench in last week’s 8-0 hammering of Newport in the Carabao Cup second round at Rodney Parade.
The forward had been set to join the Swans on loan in January but suffered a quad injury which required surgery and scuppered any deal.
Obafemi, who came through the youth ranks at St Mary’s, has made 39 appearances in all competitions for Saints – scoring five goals.
