NATHAN Tella sent a public message to former Saints striker Michael Obafemi after he completed his deadline day move to Swansea.
The 21-year-old Republic of Ireland forward finalised a transfer worth around £1.5million to the Championship outfit with only minutes to spare in the window.
Both players are a similar age and will have spent a lot of time together as they progressed into the Saints first team from the academy.
Here is what Tella posted:
The message reads: 'My brother man, gonna miss you bro' with a love heart emoji.
The Dublin-born forward scored four goals in 32 Premier League appearances for Saints and will now chance his arm in England's second division.
He is the replacement for Jamal Lowe, who moved to Bournemouth yesterday in a deal worth the same value.
