SAINTS fan Dan Colmer set himself the challenge of visiting all 92 Football League stadiums within eight days – before ending the journey at St Mary’s.
The 92 grounds include every Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two venue, taking him right up and down the country and to every corner.
The supporter started his journey at the home of AFC Bournemouth, Vitality Stadium, before completing his tour of the south-west and South Wales on day one.

Day three saw him visit no fewer than 17 grounds across the north in just one stint, including the likes of Manchester United’s Old Trafford and Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium.
His final day was rounded out with visits to remaining London clubs like Chelsea and Milwall, before travelling down to Brighton, Saints’ arch rivals Portsmouth and finishing at home – St Mary’s.
And speaking to the Daily Echo about the challenge, Dan said: “Challenge completed in 8 days - all 92 grounds in the Football League. What a journey!
“It was a mission. Pitchside visits were very special at Etihad and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Met some great people on the way.”
Dan embarked on the challenge to raise the profile of his website, aroundthegrounds.org, which gives information and reviews to other passionate football fans like himself.
A gruelling set of journeys over eight days and no doubt a considerable cost to the wallet. It’s an impressive pilgrimage for any fanatic football fan to tick off the 92 – let alone in just over a week.
Good effort, Dan.
