JAMES Ward-Prowse has been named in the England squad for this month's crunch World Cup qualifiers.
The Saints skipper was left out of Gareth Southgate's initial selection last month, before being drafted in to replace the injured Kalvin Phillips.
He went on to earn his ninth senior cap for England, scoring his second goal, in a 5-0 win over Andorra.
And, despite featuring just once for Saints since then having served a three-match suspension, Ward-Prowse is part of the 25-man Three Lions squad that will meet up after this weekend's Premier League fixtures.
England host Albania on Friday, November 12, where Ward-Prowse could face Saints teammate Armando Broja.
Southgate's men then round off their qualification campaign away to San Marino three days later. Four points from the two contests would guarantee a spot at next winter's World Cup in Qatar.
Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire, Jude Bellingham and Trent Alexander-Arnold all return to the squad after recovering from injuries, but there is no place for Manchester United duo Jesse Lingard or Jadon Sancho.
