RALPH Hasenhuttl has confirmed a clean bill of health with the exception of injured Jack Stephens for the trip to Norwich, after Saints entered the break with as many as five potential concerns.
Tino Livramento and James Ward-Prowse were forced to withdraw from their respective England groups, while Armando Broja didn’t feature for Albania before he had to leave the camp early with a sore ankle.
They added to Nathan Redmond, who tested positive for COVID-19 before the break – but the Saints boss has confirmed all will be available apart from Stephens, who is continuing his recovery.
With the 27-year-old Torpoint-born defender back on grass and in individual training well before the break started, Saints are edging towards a fully fit squad which will prove crucial in the hectic international break.
Speaking ahead of the game, Hasenhuttl said: “We are not much different to the past, only Jack Stephens is out – everyone else is fit.
“There was a few issues we had, but everybody is fit, everybody is on the pitch.”
Livramento, Broja and Redmond were all spotted in the first training session of the week, before captain Ward-Prowse joined his team later on the next day.
Some supporters were concerned that, following Redmond's positive test, the 27-year-old skipper may have also been battling with a bout.
But the boss added: “He’s OK. As I said, everybody’s OK. He (Ward-Prowse) had a bug.”
