SAINTS supporters expressed their concerns after watching a confident Crystal Palace side run rings around Everton during their 3-1 win on Sunday.
Saints are next to travel to Selhurst Park and are doing so off the back of a tough afternoon which finished 3-0 at Arsenal, making it no Premier League victories in five.
Red-hot Conor Gallagher scored twice including a last-minute screamer versus Rafa Benitez’s Toffees side which had just beaten Arsenal themselves, adding to a rare James Tomkins goal.
Palace are 12th in the Premier League with 19 points from 16 matches, ahead of Saints by only three points – but fans are concerned about just how much better they look.
To add to those woes, Ralph Hasenhuttl could have a heavily diminished side through injury with potentially all three of his starting strikers in Armando Broja, Che Adams and Adam Armstrong harboring concerns.
Should Saints lose, it's possible the gap from the relegation zone could be closed to just three points, or Hasenhuttl's side could drop to 17th.
It could be a long and increasingly concerning night in the electric atmosphere of Selhurst Park on Wednesday – and here’s what supporters are saying about the prospect.
With all strikers now seemingly injured, I guess it'll be Shane and Theo rolling back the years vs Palace on Wednesday... 🙄 #saintsfc

Somehow I don’t think we’re going to outscore this Palace team on Wednesday with a nearly 35 year old Shane Long starting up front. #SaintsFC

Bad times when you’re worried about getting a point against Palace. A confident win would does us wonders #saintsfc
