SAINTS Women added more silverware to their collection after winning the Women’s National League Cup – capping off an impressive double.

A brace from Lucia Kendall to go with Alisha Ware’s opener earned Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s side a 3-0 victory over Huddersfield Town in the final at Damson Park.

Cup success comes after sealing top spot in the Women’s National League Southern Premier Division, after a 2-0 win over Portsmouth on Wednesday.

Saints had come through ties against Cheltenham, Ipswich, MK Dons, Hashtag United and Crawley Wasps to book their place in the final of the competition in Solihull.

Ware put the south coast side ahead after she tapped home a cross to the back post.

Kendall then continued her sublime scoring run after striking into the far corner after the ball fell to her on the edge of the box.

And the England youth international was at it again in the latter stages, hammering home a third to wrap up another trophy for Saints.
