TINO Livramento has responded to James Ward-Prowse’s tribute during the 2-2 draw at Brighton, after the young defender was stretchered off with a serious injury.
The 19-year-old was replaced by substitute Romain Perraud after 36 minutes at Amex Stadium, and may have played his last match of the 2021-22 season.
Livramento looked to have sustained a knee concern, going down without contact from another player as his leg stuck in the surface causing an unnatural rotation.
Immediately, the youngster called for medical help and both teammates and opposition were sickened by what they saw on the pitch.
Say what you want about Ralph Hasenhuttl but this was a wonderful moment as he went to console Tino Livramento on his way off the pitch❤️#SaintsFC pic.twitter.com/IAWxSaA2OU

When skipper Ward-Prowse levelled the scores at 2-2 with his second goal of the afternoon, he produced a T gesture during the goal celebration in tribute to the former Chelsea starlet.
Livramento took to social media to send his first message since the horror, responding: “My captain” with a heart emoji.
Livramento has made 28 Premier League appearances in his first-ever season playing senior football, following a permanent summer transfer from Cobham.
The youngster will undergo a scan on the injury to determine its severity, but will hope he is fully recovered in time for a first full pre-season with Saints in July.
