AFC TOTTON have confirmed that two centurions will remain at Snows Stadium next season, with Brett Williams and Jack Masterton both set to stay at the Southern League Division One South outfit.
34-year-old Williams is currently in his second spell at a Stag, after joining Totton for a club-record fee back in 2009.
Totton had signed the striker from Eastleigh, and it was not too long before Williams returned to the Silverlake Stadium.
It was whilst playing for the Spitfires Williams was spotted by Championship outfit Reading, who parted with £50,000 to bring the then 23-year-old to the Madjeski Stadium.
Whilst he was unable to make the mark in the Championship, Williams has enjoyed fruitful spells in League One, League Two, and the National League.
He returned to the Stags in 2020 after notable stints at Torquay United and Aldershot Town in the National League.
Vastly-experienced Williams reached the 100 game mark for the Stags in the last game of the 2021-22 campaign in rather bizarre circumstances.
With the club's regular goalkeepers all unavailable, the veteran striker had to don the gloves for Totton's Southampton Senior Cup final at St. Mary's.
Whilst Totton have retained his services as a striker for the upcoming season, Williams kept a clean sheet as Totton won 3-0.
Masterton has become a regular face at Snows Stadium since arriving from neighbours Eastleigh in the summer of 2017.
Originally a full-back that came through the academy set-up at Saints, Masterton offers versatility as he is adept in the centre of midfield as well.
Last season Masterton made 20 appearances as the Stags narrowly missed out on a promotion spot.
The duo join goalkeepers Lloyd Thomas and Lewis Noice, and new signings Charlie Kennedy, Luke Hallett, and Mike Carter as players signed on for Jimmy Ball's first full season as Stags boss.
Totton also previously announced that playmaker Ethan Taylor was tied down for the upcoming season.
Preparation for a promotion push continues, with a new signing expected to be announced over the course of the Jubilee weekend.
