TINO Livramento has provided a positive video update on his injury recovery with the simple message: “Boots back on.”
The 19-year-old defender is expected to be sidelined with an ACL injury until after this year’s World Cup, which finishes in December.
Livramento, who enjoyed a breakout season following his arrival from Chelsea last summer, needed medical treatment after an injury at Brighton & Hove Albion in April.
The youngster underwent surgery which has left him with visible scarring on his knee, and he had already been battling a meniscus concern.
Manager Ralph Hasenhuttl recently provided a positive update suggesting, “he is in time I think,” but admitted it is still too early to think about.
So it will be a big boost to supporters and his teammates to see Livramento back on grass with boots on, doing some keepy-ups at Staplewood Campus.

Livramento could return in time for the Boxing Day clash with Brighton at St Mary’s, while Saints then visit Fulham on New Year’s Eve.
But, after such a lengthy layoff, the England under-21 international will be in no rush back, with the focus being on staying fit for the rest of the campaign.
