SAINTS have released ticketing guidance for supporters who had purchased ahead of their matches being postponed this weekend.

Football across all levels of the game has been postponed this weekend, after the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

Saints had been set for a St Mary’s double-header, with Brentford visiting in the Premier League on Saturday.

Then, on Sunday, the Women’s side were due to host Durham in their second home match of the Championship campaign.

Both matches are now due to be rescheduled and played at a later date, with the club releasing advice for those who have purchased tickets.

Following the postponements, a statement from Saints read: “New dates for the affected games will be announced once known, and all tickets will remain valid for the rearranged games.

“Further ticket information regarding these matches, including details for supporters unable to make any rearranged fixture, will be published once any dates are announced.”

The next slot for likely rescheduling dates for the Brentford game has been touted as late as January. Meanwhile, Saints could return to Premier League action next Friday.

Should the Premier League make the determination to press on with the eighth round of fixtures next weekend, they will visit Aston Villa in an evening kick-off.
