WATERLOOVILLE'S Kerry Smith reached the quarter finals of the Srixon Australian Women's Amateur Championships today.
Smith was up against compatriot Florentyna Parker in round two of the matchplay, beating her 1up in a tense game.
She will now play another English representative, Rachel Jennings, after she demolished Australia's Jessica Bozanic 7&6.
Brokenhurst Manor's Liz Bennett was strong in the strokeplay qualifying rounds, but lost out to Whitney Hillier 4&3 in the first matchplay round.
