Stewart Henderson is hoping Saints fans will turn out to see his reserve team attempt to clinch some silverware at St Mary's tonight.
While the first team may be struggling at the wrong end of the Championship table, Henderson's second string can seal the Pontin's Holidays Combination league title if they defeat QPR tonight, kick off 6.30pm.
The game has been moved to St Mary's to allow as many fans as possible to come along and cheer the side on.
Though Henderson has never measured reserve team success by titles, he does recognise it will be a good achievement for what has mainly been a young side this season.
He said: "It will be nice if people turn out for the lads and for them to be playing at St Mary's.
"They've done well and certainly even in the last four seasons in the Premier Reserve League as well we've had a good side and given a good account of ourselves.
"This group are good lads, they're good to work with and they've got a fair amount of ability as well.
"We have the threat of McGoldrick and Baseya, also Adam Lallana and Lloyd James who has been very consistent, Ollie Lancashire at the back and others so there's a decent group of players there."
