Rupert Lowe and Michael Wilde are set to return to power at Saints on May 9.
The Daily Echo understands that date has now been agreed between the club's outgoing PLC board and the two former chairmen for an orderly handover of power.
Assuming the current PLC board get all the relevant legal paperwork in place to confirm the handover, Lowe and Wilde will withdraw their EGM requisition and the meeting, set for Friday, May 16, will be cancelled.
It will mark the end of another acrimonious battle to run affairs at St Mary's and will see Leon Crouch, Keith Wiseman, Patrick Trant and Lee Hoos removed from the PLC board.
Only finance director David Jones will remain and he will be joined by Lowe, Wilde and Andrew Cowen.
The Daily Echo understands once in power the same four men will comprise the football board.
Lowe will be PLC chairman while Wilde will take up the role of football board chairman.
