FORMER Saints boss Graeme Souness is on his way back to the south coast.
The Liverpool legend has been confirmed as the Scotland Legends manager for the clash with England Legends for the Alan Ball Memorial Cup game at St Mary's next month.
Souness will be up against his former Merseyside derby rival, Peter Reid, who is the England manager.
Ex-England skipper Bryan Robson was yesterday named as the England Legends skipper for the game at St Mary's on Thursday, May 15 (7.45pm).
The Echo can also today reveal that ex-Saints star Graeme Le Saux will be part of the England squad.
Paul Merson, Les Ferdinand, Chris Woods, Ray Parlouhad previously been confirmed as England squad members.
Souness said: "I've heard a lot of talk coming from Reidy, Robbo and Merse about how the England team is going to be too strong for the Scots.
"What they're forgetting is how much us Scottish lads love putting one over on the Sassenachs. We'd want to beat England if it was a game of tiddlywinks, so you can imagine how much we want to beat them on May 15.
"When I announce the first five Scotland players on Monday, the England team won't be quite so confident, of that I can assure you."
