GRAEME Le Saux is backing Saints to survive on Sunday, but says the club desperately needs stability behind the scenes if they are to have a chance of future success.
The 39-year-old was a member of the Saints team relegated from the Premiership in May 2005.
Le Saux, pictured, said he cannot believe how far the club has fallen since that fateful day at St Mary's, when defeat to Manchester United sent them down, writes Gordon Simpson.
The ex-England international thinks Nigel Pearson's men will win against Sheffield United, but the club will need to take a good look at itself in the summer.
"I'm just convinced they will win," he said. "Maybe that's my heart as much as my head saying that, but I'm willing them to win.
"I can't think of the damage it would do to the club to go down again.
