FORMER Saint Glenn Cockerill ranks Sheffield United as one of the best-organised teams he has seen all season.

But he thinks there is still one glaring weakness Saints can exploit.

Cockerill now conducts scouting work for Saints and watched their opponents on Sunday beat Hull 2-0 at Bramall Lane a fortnight ago.

The midfielder spent eight years at The Dell, from 1985 to 1993, and is desperate for his old side to beat the drop into League One.

But he knows it will be a difficult test on Sunday against the Championship's in-form side.

"Sheffield United looked very good when I saw them," he said.

"They had Chris Morgan sent off right on half-time, when it was 0-0, but they were excellent in the second half.

"They are very strong, with a good back four and I especially liked the two wide men, David Cotterill and Stephen Quinn.

"They looked very dangerous down the right with Quinn.

"Up front, James Beattie and Billy Sharp complimented each other well, although it looks like Beattie's out."

But it is not all bad news for Saints, according to Cockerill.

"The main weakness I saw was their speed," he said.

"The two centre halves, Morgan and (Matthew) Kilgallon, are strong, but they aren't quick.

"It's the same with Gary Speed in midfield. If you can use some quick passes to get past him, you will start getting yourself into dangerous areas."
