SAINTS head of recruitment Joe Shields has confirmed the signing of English youth international Jayden Meghoma via social media.
The 16-year-old left-back is the second Tottenham Hotspur starlet to make the switch to Staplewood Campus this season, following forward Sam Amo-Ameyaw.
Reports first emerged of the double deal nearly two months ago, with the Daily Echo confirming the pair would join Saints soon after.
The club announced the deal for the forward in August, and it now looks confirmed that Meghoma will be joining him and link up with the Saints academy.
Meghoma – born in 2006 – is an England under-17 international and adds to the pool of Young Lions in Saints’ academy, including his former teammate, Dom Ballard, Jimmy Jay Morgan and more.
The details are yet to be confirmed, but Meghoma - being 16 years old - will sign a scholarship deal to join Saints and could feature for the under-18s at first.
