RALPH Hasenhuttl admitted he does not know the severity of Kyle Walker-Peters’ concern but hopes it is just cramp.
The 25-year-old full-back made way for Stuart Armstrong after 66 minutes of the 1-0 win over AFC Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium.
Walker-Peters had dropped to the floor minutes earlier and attempted to play on but after being grounded for a second time, Hasenhuttl made the change.
The England hopeful was able to walk off the pitch unaided and lended to Hasenhuttl’s hope it is not a serious concern.
“I don’t know yet (on the severity) but I think it was only cramp,” Hasenhuttl said.
The Austrian then qualified his statement, adding: “I hope it was only cramp.”
Walker-Peters has started every match in the Premier League for Hasenhuttl this season, picking up a first clean sheet at the Dorset rivals.
