SAINTS have seen their first home match of 2023 rescheduled, with Nottingham Forest now set to visit on Wednesday, January 4 (7:30pm).

The game against last season’s Championship play-off winners was originally pencilled in for Monday, January 2.

Otherwise, Saints’ festive schedule remains unchanged, though the Boxing Day showdown with Brighton at St Mary’s (3pm) will be screened live on Amazon Prime.

The meeting with the Seagulls will mark Saints’ return to competitive action after the six-week winter break for the World Cup.

Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men will still travel to Fulham on New Year’s Eve (3pm) as originally scheduled.
