SAINTS have been handed a home draw in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, where they will host League One Lincoln City.
Saints set up the tie with a penalty shootout victory over League One Sheffield Wednesday midweek, skipper James Ward-Prowse's penalty in first-half stoppage time cancelling out Josh Windass' opener as new boss Nathan Jones watched on from the stands.
They will face the Owls' league counterparts in the fourth round, with the Imps defeating Championship side Bristol City 3-1 away from home in the previous round.
Ties will take place the week commencing December 19, representing Saints' first competitive fixture back after the World Cup break.
Games will be staged on either Tuesday, December 20, or Wednesday, December 21, with a tight festive schedule following the end of the World Cup.
Saints were knocked out at this stage in last year's competition, falling to defeat away at Chelsea on penalties.
