AFC TOTTON survived late carnage to seal a 2-1 win away at Bishop’s Cleeve, after a red card had reduced the visiting ranks.
The scores remained level until the hour mark when Scott Rendell opened from close-range and Ethan Taylor put distance with just injury time to spare.
George Box headed in from a corner in additional time before to reduce arrears and Connor Whitely added to the stress with a last-minute straight red.
The referee followed that up with a lengthy conversation with the home dugout at Kayte Lane, before blowing up for the Stags victory.
After a slow first-half, the second period brought five yellow cards in the build-up to the big climax.
The result leaves AFC Totton second in the Southern League Division One South, with 10 wins and three draws from their opening 15 matches.
