SAINTS defender Dynel Simeu has landed a League One loan move after two successful spells in League Two, switching to Morecambe.
The 20-year-old centre-back will link up with fellow Saints loanee Caleb Watts for the rest of the season, as they look to stave off relegation.
Morecambe sit 22nd in League One after 24 games played but recorded a big 4-0 win over Burton Albion last time out, in which Watts scored twice.
Simeu has made 32 appearances in the fourth division and will now get a chance to test himself at a higher level.

The Southampton-local youngster recently sat down for an in-depth interview with the Daily Echo and detailed his ambition to play for Saints at the highest possible level.
He was selected by former manager Ralph Hasenhuttl to join the squad on their pre-season tour in Austria and made the bench in the Premier League and cups for the Austrian.
But Simeu is yet to make a competitive appearance for the side he joined from Chelsea in 2021.
