SAINTS have confirmed the appointment of Charlie Boss as the club's new Chief Commercial Officer.
Boss succeeds David Thomas in the role and will report directly into Saints CEO Martin Semmens in an attempt to continue to build the club's commercial growth.
Previously, Boss spent time as head of the commercial team at The Jockey Club while he also has experience in senior roles at Disney and ESPN UK as well as the RFU and the FA.
Speaking about the appointment, Saints Chairman Henrik Kraft said: “We are delighted to welcome Charlie Boss to Southampton Football Club as our new Chief Commercial Officer.
“We have a burning drive to deliver the most exciting and entertaining fan engagement solutions to our supporters, powered by the most innovative technology in the industry.
"Charlie’s background and track record of combining sports content and technology with venue management, hospitality and commercial partnerships will bring all the skills needed to lead our commercial team.
“We are looking forward to getting started together."
