A SAINTS supporter was pictured taking a P45 to Nathan Jones’s dugout following Wolves’ second goal in a 2-1 defeat.

The fans had voiced their concerns over Jones’s tenure all week following a 3-0 loss at Brentford last time out, with the fans’ forum taking place at St Mary’s on Tuesday also dominated by Jones talk.

During that match, supporters cycled through four different chants against Jones – with the ultimate asking the Welshman to leave.

Jones has now overseen eight Premier League matches and has suffered defeat in seven, with the only win coming at Everton.

A supporter was pictured by the Daily Echo with a sign depicting a P45 for manager Jones, who is understood to be under increasing pressure in his role.

After Joao Gomes’s late winner for Wolves on Saturday, the supporter attempted to take the P45 to Jones in the dugout.

Jones headed straight down the tunnel at full-time following the defeat, which he claims is the first instance of his doing this across his managerial career.
