SAINTS midfielder Moi Elyounoussi has reached an impressive landmark with his country as he hit 50 international caps in Norway's 3-0 defeat to Spain.

The 28-year-old made his senior international debut in 2014 and has managed to remain present amongst the Norway set-up ever since.

And chosen once again to represent his nation in Saturday's Euro 2024 qualifier against Spain, Elyounoussi marked the occasion by collecting his 50th cap.

The former Celtic loanee was withdrawn with Norway losing 1-0 in the 74th minute before Joselu added a late brace to seal the points for Spain.

Elyounoussi will have a chance to earn his 51st cap on Tuesday when Norway visit Georgia for the next step in their Euro qualifying journey.

Capable of playing in midfield or in attack, Elyounoussi has appeared in 25 Premier League games this season despite not yet scoring while providing just one assist.
