SAINTS forward Theo Walcott is reportedly set to leave the club at the end of his contract this season, with Sport Republic planning a ‘massive overhaul’.
Walcott, 34, has been one of the club’s bright sparks in their tame relegation fight, playing in every Premier League match under manager Ruben Selles and scoring twice.
The Saints academy graduate has seen a major resurgence during his second stint at St Mary’s, having made just 12 league appearances in the 18 months prior.
Walcott initially burst onto the scene with Saints as a teenager before moving to Arsenal in 2006, going on to make 397 appearances for the Gunners.

His second spell here could be coming to an end in the next four weeks, as talkSPORT report that no contract is on the horizon for the veteran former England international.
Walcott had opportunities to move to MLS and Championship clubs last summer before deciding to stay at Saints. It is understood he signed a lucrative contract to return in 2021.
The report adds that Saints owners Sport Republic are planning a massive overhaul when relegation is confirmed. Moi Elyounoussi and Willy Caballero are also out of contract.
Failed signings such as Mislav Orsic and Paul Onuachu could leave if the right moves are found, while there will be interest in Southampton’s starters.
Sport Republic must also oversee radical change in the dugout and at the director level with a number of staff having already or are expected to depart the club.
