SAINTS staff have been warned of impending club-wide cuts and redundancies following relegation to the Championship.
An email was sent to all of the club’s staff on Thursday, warning that there will be a restructuring taking place and some roles will be “at risk”.
The club acknowledge they are forced to adjust their budget and staff requirements across all departments.
This is due to significant financial impacts of relegation from the Premier League. Over 340 staff work for the club but not all will be at risk.
The email sought to give clarity to the club's employees on the process in place, which will continue over the next month.

Following the staff’s notification of their situation, a consultancy period will run until July 20. Saints were relegated following a 1-0 loss to Fulham at St Mary’s earlier this month.
The club confirmed that CEO Martin Semmens has departed his role following relegation, while Swansea City’s Russell Martin is poised to replace manager Ruben Selles.
