Eastleigh have confirmed the signing of Aidan Barlow on a permanent transfer following his departure from Doncaster Rovers.

In joining The Spitfires, Barlow is taking a step down from League Two, where Doncaster finished in 18th place last season.

The 23 year old, who is a product of Manchester United’s academy, played 51 times for his former club in all competitions during a two-year stint in South Yorkshire – scoring three goals and providing two assists.

Barlow becomes Eastleigh’s 11th signing of the season as they ramp up preparations ahead to the 2023-24 Vanarama National League campaign.

The Salford born midfielder will add extra experience as Lee Bradbury’s side aim to bounce back from the disappointment of missing out on the playoffs.

Barlow made his professional football debut back in August of 2019 when he was on loan at Eliteserien side Tromsø.

He played seven times for the Norwegian outfit and scored his first senior goal against Haugesundon on Sunday, September 1.
