SAINTS have announced that Jayden Meghoma has signed his first professional contract, keeping him at the club until 2025.
The 17-year-old left-back has committed his future to the club for a further two years after arriving from Tottenham Hotspur last season.
He enjoyed an impressive debut campaign at Saints with key contributions to the under-18s' run to the FA Youth Cup semi-final as well as some positive displays in the latter stages of the Premier League 2 season.
Meghoma spoke of his confident ambitions for the future after signing his contract and enjoying a call-up to the first team during pre-season.
He said: "It's an amazing feeling to have been here a short time but to have made a big impact, last season playing with the under-21s I really enjoyed it, especially being one of the younger players I feel like everyone welcomed me and I had to adapt to be a bit more mature.
"I now want to try and be in and around the first team, hopefully, really just pushing myself to reach my goals."
