BURNLEY chairman Alan Pace has reposted his daughter’s ‘Free Nathan Tella’ TikTok video amid the winger’s return to Saints this summer.
The short video, which features The Specials’ track ‘Nelson Mandela’, shows Ashlyn Pace-Ferguson scrolling pictures of Tella from pre-season and placing ‘Missing’ posters around Turf Moor.
Burnley have reportedly had a bid rejected for the 24 year old after he has featured for Russell Martin’s side following a 17-goal, Championship-winning loan spell at Burnley last season.
Saints fans have reacted to the video, labelling it “seriously cringe”. Saints are holding out for their valuation on a number of players attracting Premier League interest this summer.
Martin, speaking on talkSPORT on Monday morning, said: “He’s a brilliant young man who had a brilliant season, hopefully, we can continue to work with him for a while and he can be a big part of it here.”
Alan Pace it is quite literally in your power to pay the measly asking price of £15m https://t.co/I98ektlUtT
