SAINTS defender Mohammed Salisu has completed a permanent transfer to AS Monaco.
After three seasons on the south coast, the 24 year old centre-back departs St Mary’s, joining the French Ligue 1 outfit ahead of the new campaign.
In his time with Saints, Salisu – who moved to the club in 2020 from Spanish side Real Valladolid – made 80 appearances and scored once.
The club statement issued reads: "We would like to wish Mohammed well for the future and thank him for his contribution."
Saints are expected to receive a figure reaching up to 20million Euros for the Ghanaian international - around £17million.
Salisu did not play any role in the final 10 games of last season, as Saints were relegated from the Premier League, but has featured for new boss Russell Martin twice in pre-season.
