SAINTS supporters have reacted to the news that West Ham United have agreed a deal to sign James Ward-Prowse.
Multiple publications have reported that there is now an agreement in place for the Southampton captain to make the switch to the London Stadium.
The fee is believed around the £30 million mark with the 28 year old reportedly set to sign a four-year deal with the Europa Conference League winners.
Having joined Saints as a youngster Ward-Prowse has risen through the ranks before going on to make 422 appearances for the club.

Facebook user Ian Winter added: "I thought he'd help get us up, and go into legend status. Not sure if he will suit Moyesball at WHU. Saints under RM are looking to play progressive football."
Fellow Saints fan Dale Bennett noted: "It was inevitable and I can't blame him as he's been a fantastic player and servant for us for so long. With his talents, he deserves to compete in the Premier League and Europe. Good luck JWP a true Saint through and through!"
Without Ward-Prowse, we would’ve been in the Championship a long time ago.

Single handedly kept us up year after year.
To me, he’s a #SaintsFC legend for the memories he’s given me as a fan. Today I feel genuinely sick at the idea of seeing him in another teams shirt.
No one can blame JWP for moving back to the level he deserves. Ironically, if he hadn't made such a heroic effort in the seasons prior to 22/23, we'd have come to this point sooner and he might've stayed. But at 28, I can totally see why he wants to go. Cheers Prowsey. #saintsfc
