SAINTS loanee Duje Caleta-Car was among the Lyon squad dressed down by ‘ultras’ after their fourth match without a win this season.
Lyon were beaten 4-1 at home by Paris Saint-Germain – Caleta-Car’s third Ligue 1 fixture to end in a loss already since his move.
Former Saints loanee Ainsley Maitland-Niles was also part of the group berated by the ‘Bad Gones’ ultras, who let their fury at the poor start known.
“There were people who wore the Lyon shirt before you who gave everything for it. Don’t defile/smear it,” they are reported to have said.

Only four games into the season. The pair must count themselves lucky this lot don’t support Southampton.#SaintsFC https://t.co/90Zr5Na6FU
Caleta-Car and Maitland-Niles were both part of the Saints side relegated to the Championship last season with just 25 points.
Caleta-Car joined Lyon on a season-long loan with no confirmation of whether there is an option to buy at the end of the deal.
