FORWARD Paul Onuachu made it six goals in eight games for Trabzonspor with a brace in their 2-1 win against Konyaspor out in Turkey.
The Nigerian international opened the scoring with a calm right-footed finish before netting a late winner with an outrageous flicked volley.
The result took Trabzonspor up to fourth in the Turkish Super Lig just ahead of Besiktas on goal difference.
Despite his form, he has been left out of Nigeria's squad for the upcoming international break but former Southampton man Nathan Tella has made it in - as has Joe Aribo.
Meanwhile, in France, Roman Perraud's Nice team gave up top spot in Ligue 1 after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Montpellier.
The 26 year old made his seventh substitute appearance for the French club when he appeared in the 86th minute. He is still yet to start a game since his loan spell began.
Duje Caleta-Car's Lyon finally got their first league win of the season with a 1-0 win away at Rennes but the centre-back was not involved in the squad.
Young striker Dom Ballard scored his third Reading goal but he was not able to help his side earn all three points.
The Royals went 2-0 up after 15 minutes when Ballard outjumped the Shrewsbury goalkeeper to nod the ball in.
He was then replaced on 71 minutes with the score at 2-1 but just over 20 minutes later, the hosts had turned the game around to win it 3-2.
The result keeps Reading rooted to the bottom of the League One table and deepens the pressure on former Saints boss Ruben Selles.
Right back Lewis Payne helped Newport County keep a clean sheet during the 0-0 draw with MK Dons.
Josh Squires and Reggie Evans made their Basingstoke Town debuts in the 4-1 defeat to Dorchester Town in the Isthmian League South.
Thierry Small made only his second St Mirren appearance when he came on in the 71st minute of the 4-0 loss to Dundee in the Scottish Premiership.
