SAINTS young English trio Sam Amo-Ameyaw, Jayden Meghoma and Tyler Dibling have made it to the knockout stages of the under-17 World Cup in Indonesia.
England progressed as group C winners despite losing their final group match 2-1 to Brazil on Friday at the Jakarta International Stadium.
Amo-Ameyaw and Meghoma both started for the young lions and were both heavily involved in proceedings.
Meghoma almost created the opening goal when his cross found Manchester City's Matty Warhurst but he was denied by the Brazilian goalkeeper.
Brazil took the lead in the 43rd minute through a Kaua Elias volley and they then doubled their lead shortly after the break when Da Mata's header found the net.
England pulled a goal back through Manchester City's Joel Ndala's penalty four minutes after Amo-Ameyaw had been replaced.
Dibling came on for the final stages but the South American side held on for the three points. Ryan Garry's side will face Uzbekistan in the round of 16 on Wednesday.
