A BUSY Saturday awaits but I have been very fortunate this week to be away on the brilliant P&O cruise ship, Iona, working as a guest speaker.
We've cruised back from Lanzarote to Southampton and I have delivered a number of talks onboard, and it's been great to see many Saints fans here.
It's an amazing opportunity to meet a lot of other passengers and it's been the perfect mix of work and keeping busy, as well as rest and recovery.
However, it is going to be a hectic one this morning as I've got to get off the ship as quickly as I can in order to travel up to Huddersfield.
I'm going to be working as co-commentary for the club as Saints take on Huddersfield so it will be a task to get up there in time for the football.
I am really looking forward to it, though, as it's nice to get back to the domestic campaign after all the internationals.
Hopefully, we can pick up from where we left off before the break as it's crucial to sustain that push at the top of the table.
Another positive performance and a win will do that. Huddersfield are struggling down the bottom of the table and have had a couple of heavy defeats recently.
There were big losses against Leeds United and Cardiff City in October but they have since drawn 0-0 with Watford and only lost in the 90th minute last time out.
I think they're tightening things up a bit under Darren Moore so we can't take anything for granted. It would be nice to go there and not leave it quite so late as we have done so far!
I have briefly met Darren on a few occasions and he is such a nice guy, he did a great job getting Wednesday promoted but there were things going on at the club that saw him leave.
He will be eager to do well but it's obviously a difficult position Huddersfield find themselves in at the moment.
I am pretty certain that, knowing his character and personality, he will be doing everything he can to help them turn that around.
We have to go there with the belief and confidence that we have built up with the eight unbeaten games behind us and look to extend that.
I think we'll have to have the mindset of winning every game when we go into it, regardless of who we are up against and whether it is home or away.
You can see that mentality is definitely present in the other half of the club, as Marieanne Spacey-Cale's women's side put up a special contest against Arsenal on Thursday.
Taking on one of the world's top clubs, a club-record crowd of 13,438 got behind Saints to take on the Continental Cup holders at St Mary's.
Big credit to everyone involved, as it took Arsenal a 92nd-minute goal to win 2-1, and it was always about more than the result.
It shows just how far Saints continue to come and I'm really pleased for everyone present that they got to celebrate that Molly Pike goal.
I also wanted to give a quick mention to some of Southampton's academy lads, Tyler Dibling, Jayden Meghoma and Sam Amo-Ameyaw.
The trio were called up to England's under-17 team for the Under-17 World Cup this month in Indonesia, although the Young Lions have now been knocked out.
It has been difficult to follow the last few days, especially being at sea, but that kind of recognition at the international level can be a big part of their development.
It's playing tournament football with big pressure and expectation at an early age and having a number of our players doing that is only a good thing for the club.
I hope that everybody travelling to Huddersfield for today's match has either already had a smooth journey, or finds it an easy trip this morning!
