SAINTS Women's defender Ella Morris scored as England under-23's drew 1-1 with Spain at St George's Park.
The 21 year old gave the Lionesses the lead after 30 minutes when she was released by Brighton & Hove Albion's Katie Robinson before slotting the ball into the far corner.
Lucia Kendall, another Saints player, was introduced in the 74th minute for Emma Coates' side as they looked to see out the game.
But they were pegged back with only five minutes remaining when Paula Arana Montes' header beat Everton's Emily Ramsey in the England goal.
Kendall almost notched the winner but her excellent swerving effort was saved by the Spanish goalkeeper.
Tough game, but ending the year unbeaten as an age group. Happy to contribute today 😁 Focusing now on a big derby this weekend 👀❤️ https://t.co/KLwnL6NxhG

The Young Lionesses have beaten France, Portugal and Belgium recently, while also drawing with Italy and now Spain in 2023.
Morris and Kendall will now head back to the south coast as they prepare for Sunday's intriguing FA Cup third round tie against Portsmouth at Westleigh Park.
