SAINTS have a chance to match their longest league unbeaten run since promotion from the Championship when they visit Watford today.
Under Nigel Adkins, Southampton's heroes went 12 games without defeat between January 31 and March 24, during the 2011-12 season.
Russell Martin's side face tough opposition, though, with the Hornets under the relatively stable management of former Barnsley boss Valerian Ismael.
Watford have only lost once since the start of October and that was due to two late goals scored by runaway league-leaders Leicester City.
Here is how we think Saints could line up for the task...
Goalkeeper
Gavin Bazunu could record a third consecutive clean sheet for the first time as a Saints player after shutouts against Bristol City and Cardiff City last week.
Defenders
Martin is unlikely to change the back four, featuring Kyle Walker-Peters, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Jan Bednarek and Ryan Manning.
James Bree has done nothing wrong, though, and is always ready to take back a starting role, while captain Jack Stephens works towards his return.
Midfielders
Flynn Downes played almost 3,000 minutes for Martin during his final season at Swansea City and is unlikely to be rested any time soon.
Shea Charles has done well to take his chance sitting just ahead of him, although Will Smallbone is well-liked and could return. Stuart Armstrong provides the spark.
Attackers
Adam Armstrong, nominated for the PFA's Championship player of the month this week, is nailed on having scored 12 goals in 19 league matches.
Charly Alcaraz is also likely to start and it could be Che Adams who completes the front three, meaning Martin goes unchanged from their win over Cardiff.
Full predicted team
Bazunu; Walker-Peters, Bednarek, Harwood-Bellis, Manning; Downes, Charles, S Armstrong, Alcaraz, A Armstrong, Adams.
