SOME of the county’s most influential individuals in community cricket came together at The Ageas Bowl last month.
Hampshire Cricket Board, the community cricket delivery arm based out of The Ageas Bowl, hosted its annual Cricket collective celebration event in November.
Over 150 attendees, all from varying clubs around Hampshire with various roles, united as part of a celebration of the hard work and commitment to driving positive community opportunity and action through cricket.
Attendees, who were offered the chance to watch the annual Fireworks at the venue, included winners and volunteers from the 2023 cricket collective awards, volunteer of the month competitions and ECB coach awards, and members from clubs who took part in Hampshire Cricket Board initiatives such as #GetSetWeekend.
Included in the attendees of the celebratory event were winners of the ECB Cricket Collective Awards 2023, which aims to reflect the achievements and efforts of the cricket community in their work off the field and provide individuals with a fantastic opportunity to nominate and recognise the volunteers who make cricket possible.
