PREMIER League strugglers Burnley are reportedly ‘lining up’ a move for Saints forward Che Adams.

The 27 year old is entering the final six months of his Southampton contract and could leave on a free transfer if he doesn’t sign an extension.

Adams has struggled for goals in the Championship this season having only scored four in 18 appearances.

Three of those goals came on the opening three games of the season before his 13-game drought was ended at Watford.

TeamTalk are reporting that the Clarets are hoping to land Adams for a ‘bargain fee.’

Their report also notes that Adams is an attractive option for Vincent Kompany's side as he would provide much-needed Premier League experience.

Adams was an unused substitute on Saturday in Southampton's 4-0 thrashing of 10-man Blackburn Rovers.

Burnley currently sit 19th in the Premier League - six points away from safety on their return to the Premier League.
