SAINTS head of tactical analysis Scott Waters has confirmed his departure from the club after more than a decade.
Waters joined Southampton back in 2011 as head of first-team performance analysis before becoming head of tactical analysis in 2021.
He becomes the latest member of Saints' non-playing staff to depart after set piece coach Andreas Georgson and Under-21 coach Lee Skyrme.
A big part of his time at the club saw him project-manage the Southampton Playbook, a 101-page document that detailed team and training methodology, positional requirements, tactical solutions and football language.
In a statement via Linkedin, Waters thanked the staff he has worked with during his tenure at Southampton.

He wrote: "My time at Southampton is coming to an end after 12 years of service, 500+ competitive fixtures and countless experiences I will cherish for a lifetime.
"To have project led and authored the club's first-ever PlayBook is my proudest achievement during my time at the club.
"To witness the impact of the PlayBook throughout the business, see the performance staff embrace its intelligence and develop the next generation of academy players with it.
"I hope its legacy continues. Thank you Tia Skinner for all your hard work on the project and for bringing it to life.
"I am looking forward to my next chapter and new opportunities in 2024."
