EASTLEIGH fans have reacted on social media to the possibility of facing Manchester United in the FA Cup.
They will have to win their third round replay over Newport County first having claimed a 1-1 draw in South Wales on the weekend.
Spitfires boss Richard Hill insisted that the replay, which takes place on Tuesday, January 16, isn't a foregone conclusion.
League Two Newport will travel to Doncaster three days before heading to the Silverlake. In contrast, Eastleigh host Southend, meaning they have less travel in the lead-up to the game.
The Spitfires have already knocked out League One Reading at home this season, with top goalscorer Paul McCallum hitting twice.
Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag admitted he knew nothing about either Eastleigh or Newport, but will know everything by the time they face the replay winners.
Here's how Eastleigh fans have reacted to the possibility of facing the 12-time FA Cup winners...
Spitfires supporter Mark Bottomley wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: "Please. United are beatable at the Silverlake."

Reading fan Edwin Toop added: "I wish u good luck in your replay and you deserve a lucrative tie against Man Utd. I will be cheering for you."
