SAINTS midfielder Joe Aribo is confident Nigeria will "find the back of the net a lot more" after they progressed to the knockout stages of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Aribo played 63 minutes for the Super Eagles against Guinea-Bissau on Monday as they sealed second spot in Group A with a 1-0 win.
That marked the 27 year olds first start of the tournament having been used as a substitute in their opener against Equatorial Guinea.
Despite their long list of top forwards, Nigeria only scored three goals across their three group games.
That saw them miss out on top spot in the group to Equatorial Guinea on goal difference.

Southampton's Aribo is confident they can turn around their goalscoring problems ahead of their round of 16 fixture against Cameroon on Saturday, January 27.
"I know as the tournament progresses, we'll find the back of the net a lot more.
"One thing about us is that we are doing very well, keeping clean sheets and we're strong and solid at the back.
"I feel good. It's always an honour for me to represent Nigeria, represent my country so it's a good feeling."
