SAINTS will face Liverpool in the FA Cup fifth round should they beat Watford in a replay.
The draw took place during half-time of Liverpool's tie against Norwich, which the Reds went on to win 5-2.
The fifth round marks the first round not to include replays in the event of draws - with games going to extra-time instead.
Russell Martin's side will first need to beat fellow Championship side Watford in a replay.
The two sides drew 1-1 at Vicarage Road on Sunday thanks to a late equaliser from Stuart Armstrong.
Southampton beat Walsall 4-0 in the third round while Watford required a 95th-minute winner from Tom Dele-Bashiru to beat National League Chesterfield.
The fifth round is scheduled to take place during the week commencing Monday, February 26.
Teams that progress will receive £225,000 in prize money.
